Day 6: My favorite breastfeeding books {31 Days of Making More Milk}

Happy Saturday!

It's Day 6 of our series 31 Days of Making More Milk! My parents and sister are here visiting for a wedding, and we spent the day getting our first family pictures taken (15 months later!), stuffing our faces with delicious Portland grub, and enjoying the uncommonly gorgeous fall weather.

Today, I'm sharing seven of my favorite breastfeeding books. I've either purchased or checked out each of these books and they're full of solid, practical information, each with a little twist of voice depending on the author(s).

While these books are written by practitioners that are experienced and educated, they also come at breastfeeding and lifestyle advice with their own perspective, and it may or may not jive with where you're at! By offering seven, hopefully you'll find one with a tone and style that speaks to you and gives you the information and encouragement that you need.

Mothering Multiples: Breastfeeding and Caring for Twins or More! by Karen Kerkhoff Gromada

Breastfeeding Made Simple: Seven Natural Laws for Nursing Mothers by Kathleen Kendall-Tackett

The Breastfeeding Book: Everything You Need to Know About Nursing Your Child from Birth Through Weaning by Martha Sears, RN

The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding by La Leche League International

The Breastfeeding Mother's Guide to Making More Milk by Diana West and Lisa Marasco

Ina May's Guide to Breastfeeding by Ina May Gaskin

Real Food for Mother and Baby By Nina Planck

I'd love to know if you've ready any of these, and which you found most helpful!
